Michigan Lasagna - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. lasagna noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 small can tomato paste
1 large cottage cheese (put in strainer for 30 minutes)
1 egg
1 tsp. garlic powder
Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Italian ground sausage
1 large jar Prego chunky vegetable sauce
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
2 large pkg. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Cook noodles according to package directions.
Beat egg and mix with cottage cheese, parsley and garlic.
Brown beef and sausage (drain) and add Prego and tomato paste.
Simmer (if too thick, add a little water).
Coat 9 x 13-inch pan with a little oil.
Layer noodles, meat sauce, then egg and cheese mixture, then noodles.
Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce.
Bake at 375\u00b0 covered for 1/2 hour.
Remove cover and bake 1/2 hour more.
