Chicken And Sausage Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole chicken breasts, skinned and boned
    8 oz. cooked, smoked sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes, crushed
    1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
    8 oz. okra, cut into 1/2-inch slices or 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut okra
    3 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Cut
    chicken
    into
    1-inch
    chunks.
    In large saucepot, heat oil
    over
    medium-high heat.
    Add chicken and sausage, a few pieces

    time, and cook until browned on all sides, removing to plate as they brown.
