Doug'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can Brooks hot chili beans
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder to taste
    1 tsp. salt
    1 bay leaf
    macaroni (if wanted)
Preparation
    In a skillet, brown the ground beef, onions and green pepper until vegetables are tender; drain off fat.
    Stir in tomatoes, beans, salt, chili powder and bay leaf.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
    Remove the bay leaf.
    Serve piping hot.
