Golden Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 large eggs, separated
3 c. cake flour, sifted
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar until light.
Beat egg yolks well and add to mixture, creaming thoroughly.
Sift together cake flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to batter alternately with milk, scraping sides of bowl frequently.
Add vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
