Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
5 c. chopped cabbage
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Heat bacon drippings in deep pan (I use iron skillet).
Add cabbage, onion and salt. Cover and cook slowly for about 20 minutes, stirring often. Add sugar and cayenne pepper to vinegar and mix well.
Pour over cabbage and cook for 5 minutes longer.
