Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 potatoes
    5 strips bacon
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    parsley (optional)
    2 hard-boiled eggs (optional)
    1/2 onion, chopped
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Boil potatoes with peeling on.
    Fry bacon; save drippings. Take peeling off potatoes, slice and season with salt and pepper. Add onion, crumbled bacon, flour, vinegar and water to bacon drippings and cook until thick and clear.
    Stir in potatoes.
    Mix well.
    Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan; heat when ready to serve.
