Hungarian Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium White Rose potatoes, cooked
    10 hard-boiled eggs
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    bread crumbs or cracker meal
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter; stir in sour cream until smooth.
    Set aside. Butter bottom of a 13 1/2 x 8 3/4-inch baking dish.
    Slice 4 potatoes to form bottom layer.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Slice 5 eggs to form next layer.
    Cover with approximately half of the butter-sour cream mixture.
    Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, eggs and butter-sour cream mixture.
    Sprinkle top with bread crumbs or cracker meal.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until dish is bubbling.
    Serves 6 to 8.
