Hungarian Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef stew meat
    3 large onions, diced
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    8 peppercorns
    1/2 tsp. tomato paste
    8 oz. can whole tomatoes
    leaves from 2 stalks celery
    1 small red pepper
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1-inch cubes.
    Wash.
    Saute onions in 2 tablespoons oil.
    Add paprika.
    Stir into onions.
    Add meat and rest of ingredients.
    Simmer over low heat 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
