Always Ready Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. oat bran
    1 c. wheat bran
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 1/2 c. flour (white or white and wheat)
    2 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. corn oil or margarine
    1 pt. buttermilk
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Put wheat bran in boiling water and let stand.
    In a separate bowl, cream sugar, margarine and eggs.
    Combine dry ingredients. Add together all ingredients and mix well.
    Store in tightly covered bowl in refrigerator at least 12 hours before use.
    Keeps well for 6 weeks in refrigerator.
    If it turns brown on top, just stir before use.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
