Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. frozen southern style potatoes
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded American process cheese
3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. cooked vegetable
1 c. cooked turkey, ham or chicken
Preparation

In a 2-quart saucepan, mix potatoes and broth.
Heat to boiling; cover and turn heat to low and cook gently 2 to 3 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
Mix cornstarch with a little of the milk, blending until smooth.
Combine with remaining milk and salt; stir into potato mixture.
Heat to boiling, stirring until mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
Remove from heat and add cheese, parsley and butter.
Add vegetables and meat.
