German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. all-purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
4 c. thinly sliced, peeled apples (about 4 to 5 apples)
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 Tbsp. sugar
confectioners sugar (optional)
Preparation

Combine the first 3 ingredients; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs and sugar.
Combine oil and orange juice and add alternately with dry ingredients to egg/sugar mixture.
Mix until smooth; add vanilla and beat well.
Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
