Cranberry Molded Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can whole cranberry sauce
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry or raspberry flavored gelatin
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. diced apple
Preparation
    Melt cranberry sauce over medium heat.
    Drain, reserving liquid and berries.
    Mix cranberry liquid, boiling water and gelatin; stir until gelatin is dissolved.
    Add lemon juice and salt.
    Chill until mixture mounds slightly on spoon.
    Add mayonnaise and mix until smooth.
    Fold in cranberries, apple and nuts.
    Pour into 1-quart mold.
    Chill overnight.
    Makes 5 to 6 servings.
