Chicken-Pineapple Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. can pineapple chunks in syrup
    boiling water
    1/2 c. walnuts
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 chicken breast, cut in strips
    1 garlic clove, pressed
    1 medium onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. ginger root, chopped
    1/2 lb. broccoli, cut in flowerets
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    rice
Preparation
    Drain pineapple (reserve syrup); set aside.
    Pour water over walnuts; drain.
    Heat oil in skillet and stir-fry nuts until brown.
    Remove.
    Stir-fry chicken, garlic, onion and ginger until chicken turns white.
    Remove.
    Add broccoli; stir-fry until tender-crisp.
    Return nuts and chicken mixture.
    Add pineapple. Combine reserved syrup, cornstarch and soy sauce.
    Cook until thick and bubbly.
    Serve on rice.
