Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1 1/3 c. flour
    2/3 c. stewed prunes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Add chopped prunes and stir in sour cream. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and spices and add to creamed mixture. Pour into 2 (8-inch) greased pans or a flat pan. Bake in moderate oven, 350\u00b0, for about 20 minutes or until done. Frost with Creamy Icing.
