Fruit Ripple Cookie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 stick soft butter
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 can fruit pie filling (any flavor)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients, except pie filling.
    Spread 1/2 of batter in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Top with pie filling.
    Spread remaining batter over fruit, covering as much of the filling as possible.
    Swirls in batter and uncovered fruit peeking through are to be expected.
    Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until brown.
