Barbecue Beef(8 To 20 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. rump, chuck or arm roast
    salt and pepper
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown the roast well with salt and pepper.
    Combine all remaining ingredients; pour over browned meat.
    Cover; simmer for 4 or 5 hours at 250\u00b0.
    Tear meat and simmer one more hour.
    Great sandwiches.
