Strawberry Shortcut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mini marshmallows
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Generously grease only bottom of pan.
    Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom.
    Thoroughly combine thawed strawberries and syrup with Jell-O; set aside.
    In large mixer bowl, combine remaining ingredients.
    Blend at low speed until moist; beat on medium 3 minutes.
    Pour batter evenly over marshmallows in pan. Spoon strawberry mixture over batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
    Seve warm or cool with ice cream or whipped cream.
