California Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground beef
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (7 oz.) can corn
    1 (2 1/4 oz.) can ripe olives
    1 pkg. Lawry's spice for chili
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese (6 oz.)
    2 Tbsp. yellow cornmeal
Preparation
    In a medium skillet, brown ground beef until crumbly.
    Drain fat.
    In medium bowl, combine milk, 1 cup of cornmeal and eggs; blend well.
    Add ground beef and remaining ingredients except cheese and 2 tablespoons of cornmeal.
    Stir to blend.
    Pour into lightly-greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake, uncovered, in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese and 2 tablespoons of cornmeal.
    Continue baking until cheese melts and cornmeal browns.
    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
