Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cooking apples, chopped (tart apples)
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix cooking apples, raisins, nuts and sugar; let stand 1 hour. Stir often.
    Mix together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and soda. After one hour, mix and beat well cooking oil, vanilla and 2 eggs. Add this to apple mixture, then add sifted ingredients to apple mixture.
    Beat by hand until well moistened.
    Grease and flour 3 loaf pans.
    Fill about half full or divide mixture evenly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour 15 minutes.
    Test with toothpick.
