Pecan Sandies Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 lb. 10x sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. hot water
    1 c. chopped pecans
    flour to stiffen
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together; roll into logs and chill overnight.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Slice off 1/4-inch slices and bake until light brown.
    Makes about 10 dozen.
