Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. can shredded sauerkraut, washed and drained
    1 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 small jar pimento
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sauerkraut, bell pepper, pimento, celery and onion.
    Bring sugar and cider vinegar to a boil and boil until clear.
    Pour over sauerkraut mixture.
    Chill overnight.
    Serve cold.
