Mushroom Cap Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. mushrooms
    1 c. minced clams
    1/2 c. butter
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
    1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove mushroom stems; mince.
    Place caps rounded side down on cookie sheet.
    Drain clams; save liquid. Over medium heat melt butter and brush on mushroom caps.
    In remainder of butter, saute stems, garlic and clam juice until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in clams, crumbs, salt and pepper.
    Tuck into mushrooms.
    Broil 8 minutes.
