Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans or 2 (10 oz.) frozen asparagus spears
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1 c. Mozzarella or Jack cheese
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 stick butter
    1 can water chestnuts, chopped
    8 to 10 crumbled crackers
    2 c. cooked long grain rice
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large pan, saute onions in butter until tender.
    Add cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Stir in soup and asparagus.
    Cook until warm.
    Line 9 x 13-inch dish with rice. Pour mixture over rice and sprinkle top with cracker crumbs.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
