Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium squash
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 medium onion
    1/2 c. cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    1 pkg. Ritz crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Cut squash in medium pieces.
    Chop onion; mix with 3 tablespoons butter.
    Put in casserole dish.
    Cover tight.
    Cook in oven about 30 minutes until squash is tender at 350\u00b0.
    Take out and put cheese on top; let melt.
    Mix 1/2 cup melted butter with cracker crumbs.
    Place on top.
    Cover with foil.
    Cook 15 minutes.
