Mama'S Sunday Tea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. whole cloves or 1 tsp. fresh mint leaves
    2 c. sugar
    1 lemon, cut in half (1/2 for juice, 1/2 for garnish)
    12 oz. pineapple juice
    12 oz. chilled lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
    6 of your favorite tea bags
Preparation
    Using the 6 tea bags, prepare tea the way you normally would, using 2 1/2 quarts of water and adding the cloves or mint leaves. Remove tea bags and cloves or mint immediately.
    Sweeten to taste while tea is still hot.
    Add pineapple juice and lemon juice; chill.
    After desired temperature, add soda or ginger ale just before serving and stir lightly.
    Serve with lemon garnish in tall, chilled glasses.
