Buckaroons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. rolled oats
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream together\tshortening
    and
    sugars.
    Add
    eggs and beat until fluffy.
    Mix\tflour,\tsoda,
    salt and baking powder together and add
    to
    sugar mixture.
    Mix in oatmeal, vanilla, chocolate chips and
    nuts.
    Drop
    on\tgreased cookie sheet and bake for 6 minutes at 350\u00b0.
