Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
6 oz. lean pork
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic or minced
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, stewed
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. basil leaves
3 c. cottage cheese (two 12 oz. cartons, can use less if desired)
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Cook and stir meat, onion and garlic; drain.
Add tomatoes, sauce, parsley flakes, sugar, salt and basil.
Heat to boiling; simmer 45 minutes uncovered.
Save 1/2 the sauce for top.
Mix cottage cheese with the remaining 1/2.
Use a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
No grease in dish.
Alternate noodles, meat sauce, Mozzarella cheese and cottage cheese mix 3 times.
Top with 1/2 meat sauce and 1/4 Parmesan cheese.
Let sit 15 minutes before cooking.
