Fettucini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. medium egg noodles
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. whipping cream
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    grated Parmesan cheese
    freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Cook noodles as directed on package.
    While noodles are cooking, heat butter over water, both in chafing dish, until melted.
    Stir in cream, 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese and salt.
    Heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth.
    Drain noodles; toss with cream mixture until evenly coated.
    Serve with Parmesan cheese and pepper.
    Makes 6 servings.
