Armenian Style Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. salad oil
    1 lb. green beans
    1 c. canned tomatoes
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook onion in salad oil until soft.
    Clean green beans and cut lengthwise.
    Add beans, tomatoes, water, salt, sugar and pepper to the onion.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until beans are tender. Serves 4.
