Tomato Soup Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. powdered cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 beaten eggs
    1 can condensed tomato soup (1 1/4 c.)
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and spices.
    Wash and cut raisins.
    Roll in small amount of flour mixture.
    Cream shortening; add sugar gradually.
    Then add eggs, mixing thoroughly.
    Add flour alternating with soup.
    Stir until smooth. Fold in raisins.
    Pour into 2 greased and floured 8-inch layer pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until done.
    Frost as desired.
