Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cubed, fresh apples
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 stick margarine
    1 egg
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 tsp. rum flavoring
Preparation
    Pour sugar over cubed apples.
    Let stand 10 minutes.
    Melt margarine in saucepan.
    Pour beaten egg over mixture.
    Sift dry ingredients over mixture.
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Stir until moist. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
