Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 large sweet potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 eggs, separated
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. brandy
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Boil sweet potatoes until tender.
Peel and mash.
Melt butter in milk and add to sweet potatoes.
Mix well.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Set aside.
Add yolks and remaining ingredients to potatoes.
Gently fold in egg whites.
Pour into pie shell and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
