Peanut Break - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine or butter, melted
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1 egg
    2 c. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Line jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch) with waxed paper.
    Beat butter and sugar.
    Mix in flour, syrup and egg.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Spread in pan.
    Bake until light brown (about 25 minutes).
    Loosen layer from sides of pan.
    Invert onto wire rack.
    Carefully remove paper.
    Cool.
    Break into pieces.
