Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large can cream of mushroom soup
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    1 c. long grain rice
    soy sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Cook onion in 1/2 stick margarine.
    Add ground beef and cook until brown.
    Drain excess grease.
    Add cream of mushroom soup (undiluted).
    Drain sliced mushrooms and add to mixture.
    Cook rice according to directions.
    Drain excess water from rice and add 1/2 stick margarine to rice and toss.
    Serve beef mixture over rice.
    Add soy sauce if desired.
