Dorotha Taylor' Light As A Feather Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 beaten egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add ingredients in the order given. Bake 35 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
