Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1 can evaporated milk
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
Preparation
    Melt in double boiler the caramels and 1/3 cup of milk until very thin.
    Keep hot.
    Mix cake mix and butter and then mix in 1/3 cup milk.
    Take half and press into bottom of a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 6 minutes.
