Escalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    2 cans cream of mushroom or chicken soup
    1 small carton sour cream
    8 oz. Cheddar cheese
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Melt margarine in bottom of large Pyrex dish.
    Mix all ingredients except potatoes.
    Make layers with potatoes and other ingredients.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours covered with foil.
