Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. squash
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 carton sour cream
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimentos
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1 stick margarine
    1 pkg. herb stuffing mix
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook squash in salted water just until tender.
    Drain.
    Melt margarine and mix with stuffing mix; pat into bottom of casserole, reserving 1 1/2 cups for topping.
