Pot Of Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 large cloves garlic, pressed
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) can kidney beans (undrained)
    1 (12 oz.) jar picante sauce or chili salsa
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; reserve juice.
    Brown meat in olive oil.
    Add garlic, onion and peppers; saute.
    Add reserved juice and remaining ingredients except pineapple.
    Cover; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Add pineapple and heat thoroughly.
    Serves 4 to 6.
