Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium sized sweet potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    3/4 c. water
    1 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until soft, not mushy.
    Peel and cut in half lengthwise.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add sugar.
    Add water and bring to boil, then add sweet potatoes.
    Cook slowly until liquid is thick and the potatoes are brown.
    Serves 6.
