Santa Fe Trail Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1 c. shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
    1/2 c. water
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chillies
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and mix well.
    Add rest of ingredients and mix, just until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Bake in well-greased 8-inch pan at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until center tests done.
