Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1/4 c. minced onion
2 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
1/4 tsp. basil leaves
pinch of oregano
1/2 tsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. grated cheese (optional)
Preparation

Combine tomatoes, onion, salt, pepper, sugar, basil and oregano.
Butter baking dish and alternate layers of tomato mixture and bread crumbs.
Dot with butter.
Bake in a hot oven, 400\u00b0, for 20 to 25 minutes.
