Doubly Good Refrigerator Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. water
    2 eggs
    7 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl.
    Beat 2 minutes on low speed of electric mixer.
    Set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
    Beat 3 minutes with a heavy duty electric mixer at medium speed.
    Add yeast mixture and beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
    Cover and let rise in a warm place (85\u00b0) free from drafts for 3 hours or until doubled in bulk.
