Blueberry Pudding (Hinds) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. wild blueberries
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. soft bread cubes
    a little lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients.
    Heat slowly on simmer about 5 minutes.
    Pour melted butter over soft bread crumbs and stir into hot blueberries.
    Don't crush berries.
    Keep warm 1/2 hour but don't cook!
    Add a little lemon juice.
    Serve with ice cream.
