Company Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large lemon Jell-O
    3 c. hot water
    1 (No 2) can pineapple, crushed and drained (reserve liquid)
    1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
    3 bananas, cubed
    1 c. pineapple juice
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in hot water; cool and let almost set.
    Add crushed pineapple, marshmallows and bananas.
    Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Heat pineapple juice.
    Add sugar, flour and beaten egg. Cook until thick; let cool, then fold in whipped cream.
    Spread over Jell-O mixture.
    Sprinkle shredded cheese over all.
    Chill and serve.
