Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 qt. milk
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    cinnamon
    3/4 c. rice
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Cook rice in water for 7 minutes.
    Add milk and butter, then cook 1 hour on low heat.
    Add eggs, sugar, vanilla and if desired, raisins.
    Put in serving dish and sprinkle with cinnamon.
