Chow Mein - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 cans (5 oz. each) water chestnuts, sliced (undrained)
1 can bean sprouts (undrained)
1 (7 oz.) can mushroom pieces (undrained)
2 c. diced, cooked chicken or other meat
2 c. (1/2-inch) diagonal sliced celery
1 c. thinly sliced onion
Preparation

In 3-quart glass casserole stir together soy sauce and cornstarch.
Stir in chestnuts, bean sprouts and mushrooms, then meat, celery and onion.
Microwave on High 20 to 22 minutes, stirring well after 10 minutes, until hot and thickened.
Stir thoroughly and serve over chow mein noodles or cooked rice.
