Fruit Cocktail Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can (large) fruit cocktail
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts
Preparation

Sift flour, soda, salt and sugar together.
Mix egg, vanilla and fruit cocktail together and combine all ingredients.
Pour mixture into two buttered pans.
Sprinkle top with brown sugar and nuts.
Place in oven at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 275\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
Serve cold with whipped cream. It is better made the same day as served.
