Sausage Roll - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. baking powder
    5 Tbsp. shortening (Crisco)
    2/3 c. milk
    1 lb. hot sausage
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder.
    Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add milk all at once and mix. Divide dough into 2 parts.
    Roll out 1/4-inch thick; spread with sausage.
    Roll like a jelly roll.
    Repeat for second.
    Roll, wrap and chill.
    Slice in 1/4-inch slices.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 5 to 10 minutes.
