Alabama Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken cooked in unsalted water, 45 minutes
1 (4 pkg. size) round crackers
1 cube margarine (if desired)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 can sliced water chestnuts
Preparation

Crumble 2 packages of crackers into the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Dot with 1/4 cup margarine.
Remove chicken from the bones and cut into bite size pieces, spread over crackers.
Spread mushrooms and water chestnuts over the chicken.
Mix together the soups and sour cream, spread over top.
Crumble remaining crackers and put on top of creamed soup mix.
Dot with remaining margarine. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, until good and hot.
